The sea on foot
A hundred and fifty metres from the sand and rocks of the bay of Cornino: a three-minute walk, no car needed.

A detached villa at the foot of the Monte Cofano Nature Reserve, a hundred and fifty metres from the sea. Three sea-view bedrooms, a thousand square metres of pine wood all around and sunsets over the bay of Cornino.
You wake up to the song of the cicadas and the breeze coming through the windows, have breakfast on the terrace looking out to sea, and three minutes on foot puts you on the beach. Villa Etesia is exactly that: a house inside a nature reserve.
A detached, single-storey villa, with the living room at its centre and the bedrooms in a row along the corridor. Terracotta floors, pale blue majolica in the kitchen, wooden shutters. There are windows and French doors everywhere: the house stays cool and airy even on the hottest days.

01The south-west one faces the sea and the sunset. The north-east one has the big table under the pergola and the fitted barbecue.
02Gas oven, electric mini-oven, fridge, moka pots, a coffee machine and a full set of crockery. Cleaning products and kitchen linen included.
03The garden around the house sits inside a pine wood, looking towards the sea and the mountain. Outside there are two showers and two basins for coming back from the beach.

The villa is the right base for western Sicily: Monte Cofano is within walking distance, Segesta is twenty minutes away, Erice thirty, and the ferries to the Aegadian Islands leave from the port of Trapani.
The coastal path starts practically at the door: coves, wide views and signs telling the story of the coast.
Sand and rocks, clear water, and sunsets you can watch from the terrace without leaving the house.
The medieval hilltop town — you can see it from the house — and one of the finest Greek temples in Sicily.
